Chalk it Up! – Oct. 29 to Nov. 5, 2015

Encourage active play with chalk. Let’s get our kids moving.

We’re joining the Province of Ontario in challenging our community to promote healthy and active lifestyles among children zero to 12 years old. Over the next three years, Healthy Kids Community Challenge Burlington will inspire our community to work together to create new programs and activities to inspire healthy eating and physical activity.

Participating is simple:

  1. Encourage active play with chalk. Create a game of hopscotch, draw a giant dance floor, or host an event challenging teams of kids to develop the creative, active games using chalk.
  2. Take a photo.
  3. Share on social media using hashtag #HealthyKidsBurlon.
